An Introduction.

At first, I was tempted to just use my usual blog for these posts, but as soon as I reached my dorm room, I remembered that all of my unique LJ friends would also be able to leave comments, and the thought made me twitch. So, I decided to simply make a new blog solely devoted to this course.

Why am I taking Photography Workshop?

• as an elective, I'd been thinking about taking it since sophmore year.
  
• my journalism teacher let me know that it'd look nice on my resume - let my future employers know that I can be versatile.

What expectations do I have?
None really, I'm trying to enter with an open mind ready for a challenging-yet-inspiring semester.

Goals:

• learn how to work a manual camera [I've never handled one before]
  
• find and then push the limits of my own creativity
  
• enjoy myself
  
• gain a greater understanding and appreciation for the art of photography.
