My poor Mino :(

I've yet to get my camera [I like calling it Mino, short for its brand name, Minolta] fixed and it really saddens me. I spent a few hours in Boston yesterday trying to figure out what's wrong with it... First, it was thought that it could be the batteries. I got a new set of batteries and it still does not work... I'd already sent a message to the seller on ebay about it, and although I did everything he said, it still doesn't work.
Tomorrow I'm going into Boston again and will see if there are nearby repair shops so I can get this done. Thankfully, my lovely advisor-turned-boss will help me out. She's got a film camera she hasn't used since she got a digital camera, so she said she'll let me borrow hers for my assignments. I love that woman :)
